Decomposed Body of 50-Year-Old Woman Found in Delhi's Yamuna Khadar
A grim discovery was made in northeast Delhi on Thursday. The decomposed body of a 50-year-old woman was found in the Yamuna Khadar area of New Usmanpur. The woman was later identified as a resident of the nearby Shastri Park area.
The body was recovered from a low-lying area that had been severely affected by the recent floods. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
In a related development, authorities in Germany have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of a 50-year-old woman in Viersen-Dülken. The arrest was made following the establishment of a murder commission by the police and public prosecutor Mönchengladbach on October 19, 2025.
The Delhi Police is yet to establish the cause of death and is awaiting the post-mortem report. Meanwhile, the suspect in the German case remains in custody as investigations continue.
