Delaware's Casinos Set New Records in 2025, Led by Bally's Dover and Delaware Park's Outdoor Slots Patio
Delaware's gaming scene flourished in the 2025 fiscal year. Harrington Raceway & Casino reported a significant $117.9 million in gross gaming revenue. Meanwhile, Bally's Dover led the state with $159.8 million. Delaware Park, under new ownership since 2021, also saw impressive figures and notable developments.
Delaware Park, acquired by Peninsula Pacific Entertainment in 2021 for $90 million, generated $169.6 million from slots and $26.2 million from table games in 2025. The casino's latest attraction is an outdoor slots patio, spanning 10,000 square feet, larger than Bally's Dover's outdoor space. This $5 million investment, following a $10 million overhaul in 2023, offers 250 slot machines and allows tobacco smoking. Inside the casino, however, smoking remains prohibited.
The outdoor gaming area at Harrington Raceway & Casino operates year-round, equipped with overhead heat and cooling systems for comfort.
Delaware's casinos, led by Bally's Dover, continue to grow and innovate. Delaware Park's outdoor slots patio and recent investments reflect this trend, contributing to the state's robust gaming revenue.
