Delivery worker ambushed by two attackers in Schalke assault
A delivery person was attacked and injured in Schalke on February 26, 2025. The 29-year-old deliverer was struck by a 33-year-old Gelsenkirchen resident after ringing their doorbell at Schalker Street around 6:50 PM. The police are investigating the incident for dangerous bodily harm and searching for an unknown participant.
The attack involved more than one person. A 34-year-old resident also joined in, chasing the deliverer to his van. The unknown participant is described as heavyset with a full beard and a baseball cap. Witnesses are urged to call the Criminal Commissioner 15 at 0209 365 7512 or the Criminal Watch at 0209 365 8240 to provide information.
The deliverer sustained minor injuries during the attack. The police are actively investigating the incident and seeking the unknown participant. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the relevant authorities.
