Deutsche Bahn's New CEO Focuses on Trust, Appoints New Communication Chief
Evelyn Palla, the new CEO of Deutsche Bahn, is focusing on enhancing communication to rebuild trust with customers and employees. This is part of a wider modernization and reform effort under her leadership.
Palla has appointed Jens-Oliver Voß as the new Head of Communication and Marketing, effective immediately. Voß, who has been with Deutsche Bahn since 2005, brings a wealth of experience from both journalism and corporate communications. He previously led the 'Railway in Germany' division within corporate communications and has held various senior positions within the company.
Voß aims to make communications and marketing more customer-oriented and efficient, aligning with Palla's goals of reducing bureaucracy and speeding up decision-making. Nicole Mommsen, the previous head of communications and marketing, will leave the company by mutual agreement after successfully realigning and modernizing the department.
With Voß at the helm, Deutsche Bahn's communication and marketing efforts are set to become more customer-focused and efficient. This change is part of Palla's broader strategy to modernize and reform the company, aiming to rebuild trust with its customers and employees.
