Deutsche Telekom Launches Major Fiber-Optic Expansion in Stoppenberg
Starting November 17, Deutsche Telekom will commence a major infrastructure project in Stoppenberg. The company will begin laying fiber-optic cables along Essener Straße, aiming to complete the work by November 28.
The project, set to conclude on November 14, 2025, will see Deutsche Telekom laying fiber-optic cables along Essener Straße in Stoppenberg. During this period, the right-hand lane of the two city-bound lanes on Essener Straße will be closed. This closure will be in effect between Hubert-Bollig-Straße and Theodor-Pyls-Straße, causing temporary traffic disruptions in the area.
Deutsche Telekom's fiber-optic cable laying project in Stoppenberg is expected to bring improved connectivity to the region upon completion. The company has planned the work to minimize disruption, with the construction and associated restrictions scheduled to last until November 28.
