Dobrindt urges unity as Germany’s coalition faces growing tensions
Alexander Dobrindt, Federal Interior Minister and CSU member, has spoken out about the current Union and SPD coalition in the Bundestag. He advised against aggressive tactics and encouraged improved cooperation between the two parties.
Dobrindt, who serves as the CSU's representative in the coalition, emphasized the importance of mutual respect and understanding. He cautioned against attempts to outdo each other, stating that such behaviour would hinder progress.
He also urged both parties to concentrate on delivering results rather than engaging in accusations. Dobrindt acknowledged that each party has its boundaries and constraints, but stressed the need for unity in achieving common goals.
Alexander Dobrindt's advice comes as the coalition continues to navigate its partnership. While the SPD's parliamentary group leader remains unnamed, Dobrindt's call for improved cooperation and focus on results underscores the importance of unity in German politics.
