DocuLock Blue Springs Triples Sales in Second Year, Partners with NWMSU

Spencer Engelman, a Northwest Missouri State University graduate, has taken Blue Springs by storm with his DocuLock franchise. The couple, along with his wife Adriana Napier, offers comprehensive document management services, from scanning and shredding to preservation and utility solutions. Their journey began when Spencer, then a business management student, was inspired by a guest lecture given by DocuLock's founder and CEO, Paul Janicek.

Spencer's interest was piqued after hearing about the franchise opportunity during Janicek's lecture. He applied and was awarded the franchise just 10 days after graduation, quitting his sales job in Kansas City to pursue this new venture. Together with Adriana, they provide free walk-throughs and low-pressure consultations, demonstrating their commitment to helping the local community manage their documents effectively.

The couple's hard work and dedication have paid off. In their second year of operation, they tripled their sales, a testament to their success. Their oldest preserved document, a handwritten letter from the 1920s, stands as a symbol of their expertise and care for historical documents. Recently, DocuLock has partnered with Northwest Missouri State University for franchise selections, with Spencer being the first recipient in 2023.
