Carmen Busquets, a Venezuelan entrepreneur and Glasswing board member, praised Karan's passion for education and mental health. Busquets herself started a foundation focusing on education and craftsmanship, highlighting Latin American designers.
Gabby Thomas, who wore a sheer black dress by her mother, spoke at the event. Gabby is set to open a Tutto II Giorno restaurant in Palm Beach, inspired by Donna Karan's designs and artwork.
