Dr. Andreas Brockmeyer retires after reshaping Infraserv Logistics’ future
Dr. Andreas Brockmeyer will retire as Managing Director of Infraserv Logistics at the end of this year. His departure marks the close of a long career in industrial and logistics management. Dr. Klaus Alberti will then take over as the company’s sole Managing Director.
Dr. Brockmeyer began his professional journey in 1988 at Hoechst AG, working as a laboratory manager in applied physics. After Infraserv Höchst was founded in 1997, he moved into marketing and sales, eventually becoming deputy head of the division. There, he played a key role in developing the sales team and promoting the site’s commercial potential.
From 2007 to 2011, he led marketing and sales at Provadis, an education service provider. Later, he took charge of Technion before becoming Managing Director of Infrasite Griesheim in 2014. During his time there, he reshaped the Griesheim Industrial Park, modernising its operations. In 2020, he stepped into his most recent role as Managing Director of Infraserv Logistics GmbH. Under his leadership, the company expanded its logistics infrastructure, repositioned the plant railway, and introduced advanced IT systems. A major achievement was the construction of a new hazardous materials warehouse, tailored for chemical and pharmaceutical clients. Dr. Alexander Wagner commended Dr. Brockmeyer’s work, noting his commitment to innovation, strong corporate culture, and unwavering integrity.
Dr. Brockmeyer’s retirement concludes a career spanning over three decades in industrial management. His projects at Infraserv Logistics, including infrastructure upgrades and digital improvements, will continue under Dr. Klaus Alberti’s leadership. The company now prepares for a transition in its executive team.
