Five Injured After Fire in Lokstedt - Dramatic Hamburg apartment fire forces evacuations and rescue
A fire broke out in an apartment building in Hamburg’s Lokstedt district on Wednesday. Flames and thick smoke forced residents to flee, with one person trapped inside a flat during the blaze.
The fire started in a single room on the second floor. Soon after, flames burst through a window, and smoke filled the stairwell. Firefighters arrived quickly and rescued five people from the burning unit.
No serious injuries were reported, and all rescued individuals received immediate care. Authorities continue to examine the scene to determine what triggered the apartment fire.
