Dresden Honors 325 New Master Craftspeople at Inspiring 2025 Ceremony

On November 22, 2021, the Dresden Chamber of Crafts will host a significant event, the master craftsman examination ceremony. The ceremony, themed 'Master 2025: We Can Handle Whatever Comes Next', will see 325 women and men receive their master craftsman certificates. Saxony’s Minister-President Michael Kretschmer and Radebeul’s Lord Mayor Bert Wendsche will open the event, with AfD politician Tino Chrupalla delivering a speech.

Chrupalla, a master craftsman in painting and varnishing, will share insights from his background and experiences. He is expected to touch on political and historical issues, reflecting his public statements. The keynote speaker, Prof. Dr. Volker Busch, will address 'Mastering Digital Challenges with Mental Strength', a topic crucial for the future of craftsmanship. The newly certified masters, representing 26 skilled trades, successfully completed their training, with 55 women and 270 men from the Dresden chamber district achieving this milestone.

The ceremony marks the celebration of a new generation of master craftspeople, ready to face the challenges and opportunities of the future. With a strong theme and notable speakers, the event promises to be both inspiring and informative.
