A 31-year-old driver in Mühlhausen was caught driving under the influence of alcohol twice within a week. The driver was first stopped on February 1, 2025, in their car, and again around 22:30 on an unspecified date. On February 1, police pulled over the driver on Herrenstraße. A traffic check revealed the driver was intoxicated. The driver was then prohibited from further driving, and their car key was confiscated. A blood sample was taken at the Hufeland Clinic in Mühlhausen for analysis. The following day, around 22:30, the same driver was found driving again in their car. Authorities intervened, preventing further driving, and confiscated the car key once more. Another blood sample was taken. The driver was released after the procedure, and a friend later collected the confiscated car key from the Police Inspectorate (PI) UH. The driver's name has not been disclosed. Their driving privileges have been suspended, and they face potential legal consequences following the two incidents of driving under the influence within a week.
