Drug-fueled chaos in Tempelhof leads to violent arrest at dawn
A chaotic early-morning disturbance in Tempelhof led to the arrest of a 41-year-old man suspected of dealing drugs. Police Precinct 44 responded to calls about a violent individual at a residential facility on Tempelhofer Damm just after 1:15 a.m. Officers found the man shouting loudly and visibly intoxicated by drugs.
Upon arrival, police restrained the man, who was not carrying any identification. A voluntary breathalyser test showed a blood alcohol level of around 2.7 per mille—far above the legal limit. The public prosecutor’s office later ordered a blood sample for further examination.
The incident began with reports of a disruptive, intoxicated individual but escalated into a drug-related arrest. Police continue their investigation, while the suspect remains in custody. A court decision on his detention is expected soon.
