A suspected drug dealer, a 49-year-old man, was arrested in Adlershof after a dangerous chase involving police. He abandoned his car on Radickestraße, endangering pedestrians and cyclists. Police found cocaine and cash in the vehicle.
The man attempted to evade a police check, leading to a pursuit that put others at risk. He presented forged documents and could not produce a valid driver’s license. The investigation is being led by specialized units from Police Directorates 3 (East) and 5 (City), as well as the State Criminal Police Office. The Zurich Cantonal Public Prosecutor's Office, responsible for prosecuting adult crimes in the Canton of Zurich, is handling the case (Case No. 0393).
The suspect is expected to be brought before an investigating judge to decide if a warrant for pretrial detention will be issued. The investigation continues, with police working to determine the full extent of the suspect's involvement in drug-related activities.
