Drumore Township opens sealed bids for April 2026 roadwork projects
Drumore Township has announced plans to accept sealed bids for roadwork materials and services. The submission deadline is set for April 1, 2026, with proposals covering aggregates, asphalt, and equipment rental. Officials will review the offers before awarding contracts the following day.
The township will receive sealed proposals on April 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. These must include a certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid. Required materials range from asphalt and road oil to various aggregates, alongside equipment for paving and seal coating.
All bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:15 p.m. on the same day. The Board of Supervisors will then consider awards during their meeting on April 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Successful bidders must later provide a performance bond once notified of their selection.
The township retains the right to reject bids, waive minor irregularities, or overlook informalities in submissions. Bid forms are available on the Drumore Township website or by contacting Roadmaster Shaun Graybill. Interested parties can reach him at 717-548-2660 or via email at [email protected].
The process ensures transparency, with public bid openings and a formal review before awards. Contractors and suppliers must follow the township's submission guidelines to qualify. Final decisions will be announced during the April 2 meeting.
