Drunk 46-year-old man attacks police during Baden-Baden station check
Federal Police in Baden-Baden had a tense encounter on Wednesday evening. A routine identity check at the train station turned into a struggle after a 46-year-old man refused to cooperate. The man, a French national, is no stranger to police. Despite being known to authorities, he continued to resist and insult officers during the check. His behaviour escalated when he started shouting loudly, leading to a formal exclusion order. As officers attempted to restrain him, the man attacked, trying to kick them. However, his attempts were unsuccessful, likely due to his intoxicated state. The man was eventually subdued and taken into custody with handcuffs. The 46-year-old man now faces additional charges following the incident. Police records show he has a history with law enforcement, but no previous incidents matching this description in Baden-Baden. Further investigations are underway.
