70-Year-Old Caught Drunk Driving Twice - Drunk driver caught twice in one day with sky-high blood alcohol levels
A 70-year-old man from Einbeck, in the Northeim district, was caught driving under the influence twice in one day. Both incidents happened on November 30, 2025, with his blood alcohol level far exceeding the legal limit for absolute impairment each time.
The first stop occurred when police pulled the man over on suspicion of drunk driving. He refused to take a breathalyzer test and resisted attempts to take a blood sample. Officers had to call for backup to handle the situation. His driver's license and car key were confiscated on the spot.
The case highlights the risks of repeat offences even after immediate penalties. His license remains suspended, and legal proceedings will determine further consequences. Police have not released the man's name.
