Drunk driver crashes through red light, assaults police in chaotic arrest
A 64-year-old woman was arrested in Weinböhla after driving drunk through a red light. Police pursued her vehicle, which was speeding and swerving dangerously. The incident led to a violent confrontation when officers attempted to take a blood sample.
The woman, a Czech national, was stopped after running a ford light late at night. Witnesses reported her car weaving across lanes at high speed. When police activated their lights and sirens, she nearly collided with a marked patrol vehicle.
