Drunk man, 57, caught riding moped without license in Germany
Lambrecht/Palatinate (OTS) — On March 27, 2026, at 7:25 p.m., a 57-year-old man was riding a moped on Beerentalstraße in 67466 Lambrecht/Palatinate. During a routine check, officers discovered that the man had no valid license to operate the vehicle and registered a blood alcohol level of 0.68 per mille. As a result, the vehicle keys were confiscated, and legal proceedings were initiated. Authorities have also notified the licensing office.
Additionally, the vehicle's registered owner now faces criminal charges for allowing the 57-year-old to use the moped without proper authorization.
