Man Exits Bar and Causes Disturbance in City Center - Drunk man’s 4 a.m. rampage leaves €3,000 in damage in Waren
A 21-year-old man caused significant destruction in the downtown area of Waren on Lake Müritz early on 8 November 2025. The man, under the influence of alcohol, went on a rampage after leaving a bar at 4:00 a.m., resulting in around €3,000 worth of damage. The man's destructive spree included shouting at a female passerby and smashing a flower pot along with other objects. He also kicked off the side mirrors of five parked cars. Police confronted the man, leading to an altercation where he assaulted officers. The man was later arrested and found to have a blood alcohol level of nearly 0.20%. Despite the chaos, he was the only one injured in the incident. Criminal proceedings have been launched against the man on suspicion of property damage, resisting law enforcement, and assaulting officers. The estimated damage caused by his rampage is around €3,000.
