31-Year-Old Bites Off Piece of Man's Nose During Fight - Drunken attacker bites off man's nose in violent Mannheim assault
A violent assault in Mannheim left one man with severe facial injuries after a drunken altercation. The attacker, a 31-year-old, bit off part of a 51-year-old's nose before fleeing the scene. Police later arrested him on suspicion of causing bodily harm.
The incident began when the attacker, heavily intoxicated, bit the victim's thumb during an argument. He then turned on the man's nose and face, inflicting serious wounds. A second man who tried to stop the assault was also struck by the attacker.
The victim fought back, punching the attacker and causing a minor lip injury. Witnesses alerted police, who quickly located and detained the suspect. Tests later revealed his blood alcohol level was over 0.2%—more than twice the legal limit.
Authorities are now preparing charges of bodily harm against the attacker. The victim remains in hospital with facial injuries, while the suspect faces legal consequences. Police have confirmed no further threats to the public.
