Drüpplingsen firefighters await updates on delayed fire station construction

The Drüpplingsen Fire Brigade eagerly awaits news on the construction of a new fire station, which has been delayed since early 2023. Meanwhile, the honorary division had a busy 2024 with various engagements, including a joint performance in Menden and 125th-anniversary celebrations.

Gerd Kosanke joined the honorary division on February 8, following his transfer from the Iserlohn Fire Department by Klaus Knust, the Deputy Head. His appointment was met with enthusiastic applause at the annual service meeting on February 14. Kosanke, previously a trainer of the marching band, no longer has to attend weekly rehearsals in his new role.

The honorary division, led by Kosanke, discussed the long-awaited construction of the new fire station in Drüpplingsen during their meetings. The division had a busy 2024, with 26 engagements, showcasing their commitment and dedication to the community.
