Dubai Police Sweeps IACP Awards with Five Top Honors
Dubai Police have made a remarkable global impact, earning five top honors from the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) at their 2025 annual conference in the United States. The force secured three institutional awards and individual recognitions, reflecting their outstanding work and commitment to excellence.
The Dubai Police's achievements were acknowledged with three prestigious awards: the Prevention of Transnational Crime Award for INTERPOL Team 15, the Leadership in Crime Prevention Award for the innovative SecurePlay initiative, and the Leadership in Law Enforcement Research Award. Additionally, Engineer Major Muhammad Omar Almuhairi was recognised for his exceptional work in police aviation, winning the Leadership in Police Aviation Award. Captain Sama Abdulrahim Al Zarouni also received special mention, being named among the IACP's 40 Under 40 honorees.
Major General Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al Mulla, Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering, attributed this success to the collective efforts of all departments and personnel. He praised the accomplishments as a testament to the teamwork and integration within Dubai Police, highlighting their collaborative approach to law enforcement.
