Dunwoody residents fight back against a new Raising Cane’s location

The Dunwoody community is up in arms over a proposed Raising Cane's near me on Ashford Dunwoody Road. The city's planning commission recently recommended denying the request, citing concerns about a double drive-thru and increased traffic congestion.

The city's planning commission voted unanimously, 5-0, to recommend denying the Raising Cane's application. The final decision, however, has been postponed until next month. Residents and city leaders have expressed worries about the proposed double drive-thru, which they fear will exacerbate traffic issues in the area.

The general manager of the Le Meridian hotel, located behind the proposed Raising Cane's site, has also voiced concerns. The manager fears increased traffic congestion will negatively impact the hotel's operations and guest experience.

The city of Dunwoody will revisit the Raising Cane's application next month. The planning commission's recommendation to deny the request, due to traffic concerns, will be taken into consideration. The final decision will have significant implications for both the Dunwoody community and the proposed Raising Cane's location on Ashford Dunwoody Road.
