Elderly pedestrian suffers hip injury in Berlin traffic collision
An 89-year-old pedestrian was injured in a traffic accident in Berlin’s Steglitz district on December 3, 2024. The collision happened as the elderly man crossed Schildhornstraße on a green light, only to be struck by a turning vehicle.
The incident took place at around 3:20 p.m. near the junction of Lepsiusstraße and Schildhornstraße. A 34-year-old woman, driving an SUV, was turning left from Lepsiusstraße when she hit the pedestrian. The impact left the older man with hip pain.
The injured pedestrian received medical attention for his hip injuries following the crash. Police continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision, though no additional updates have been provided at this time.
