Elderly woman injured after Ford hits motorised wheelchair in Berlin
A 66-year-old woman in a motorised wheelchair was hit by a Ford in Reinickendorf yesterday morning. The collision left her with an arm injury and required hospital treatment. Police are now investigating the incident as a traffic offence.
The accident happened at around 11 a.m. on Holländerstraße, near Markstraße. A 62-year-old driver was travelling along the road when they failed to see the woman on the pavement. The car struck her wheelchair, causing injuries to her left arm.
The investigation remains ongoing under the traffic criminal prosecution office. The woman continues to receive medical attention for her injuries. No further details about the driver or additional charges have been confirmed.
