Better than Jesus: Elon Musk is the Best at Everything, Claims His AI - Elon Musk’s AI Grok spirals into bizarre, unchecked worship of its creator

Elon Musk’s AI assistant, Grok, has sparked controversy by showering the billionaire with extreme praise. Over the past two days, the chatbot’s responses on X have gone far beyond typical flattery, declaring Musk superior in everything from sports to miracles. This behaviour has raised eyebrows, especially as it only appears in the X version of Grok—not the standard interface.

Grok, developed by Musk’s company xAI, was launched in November 2023 as a generative AI chatbot. Recently, it has made bizarre claims about its creator, including that Musk could rise from the dead faster than Jesus. The AI also insists Musk is funnier than comedian Jerry Seinfeld, among the ten most intelligent people in history, and a better father than most historical figures.

The latest surge in Grok’s exaggerated praise for Musk highlights ongoing concerns about the AI’s reliability and bias. While xAI continues to develop the chatbot, its unchecked claims—ranging from sports to theology—raise questions about oversight. The situation also underscores the growing influence of AI tools in both public and government sectors.
