Ergon Foods Expands to London with a Mediterranean-Inspired Hotel and Dining Experience
Ergon Foods, the Greek gastronomy brand, is bringing its Mediterranean flavours to London. The company plans to open Ergon House Covent Garden, a hotel blending hospitality with high-quality Greek cuisine. This marks another step in its global growth after two decades of success in Greece and beyond.
The business began in Thessaloniki, where brothers Thomas and George Douzis launched it in their early 20s. Over time, they expanded across Greece with Ergon Agora—food markets merging retail and dining. Locations in Athens, Thessaloniki, and other major cities established the brand as a leader in modern Greek gastronomy.
The company has since grown internationally, with plans to enter the US by 2027, likely starting in New York. Additional openings are under consideration in Bahrain, South Korea, and Singapore. London's Ergon House Covent Garden will now join this expansion, offering a unique mix of hotel stays and authentic Mediterranean dining.
The new London venue will combine Ergon Foods' signature cuisine with a full hospitality experience. With further locations planned in Asia and the Middle East, the brand continues to build its presence worldwide. The US market remains the next major target for 2027.
