Ericsson’s Moti Gyamlani steps down to launch his own tech venture
Ericsson's President and CEO, Börje Ekholm, has praised the contributions of Moti Gyamlani, who is set to depart from his role as Senior Vice President and Head of Group Function Global Operations on January 12, 2026. Gyamlani, who has been with the company since 2019 and served on the Executive Team since 2022, expressed gratitude for his tenure at Ericsson.
Ericsson is reorganizing its Group structure, moving functions closer to its business units. This change has led to Gyamlani's decision to step down from his current position. Despite his departure, Gyamlani will remain with the company during a transition period to ensure a smooth handover.
