Erika Kirk steps into leadership after Charlie Kirk’s tragic death

Erika Kirk has taken over as chief executive of Turning Point USA following her husband Charlie Kirk's assassination in September. She recently addressed claims made by commentator Candace Owens on Fox News without directly naming her. The two women have now agreed to meet privately on Monday, December 15.

Charlie Kirk's death in September drew widespread attention, with over 60,000 people attending his memorial at State Farm Stadium. Since then, Erika Kirk has stepped into leadership at Turning Point USA. She has also been invited to the White House multiple times in the months following the tragedy.

The private meeting between Erika Kirk and Candace Owens will take place on December 15. The outcome of their discussion may shape future public statements from both sides. For now, the two have committed to halting further commentary until after the talk.
