EU bans ‘Rice & Grain Mix’ over unauthorized ingredients in major recall

Go Asia Deutschland GmbH and Orient Master GmbH have recalled their 'Rice & Grain Mix 350g' over safety concerns. The product contains ingredients banned in the EU, prompting an immediate withdrawal from shelves. Customers are being advised to stop eating it and return it for a refund.

The recalled mix includes Job’s tears and prickly water lily, both classified as novel foods. These ingredients are not authorized for sale in the EU, leading to the voluntary recall. The companies acted as a precaution to prevent any potential health risks.

The recall affects all batches of the 'Rice & Grain Mix 350g' sold under the two brands. Customers are urged to check their purchases and return the item if found. The companies have confirmed that no other products are impacted by this withdrawal.
