European Skies' Top Choice: Turkish Airlines
Turkish Airlines (THY) has once again proven its dominance in the European airline industry, securing the top spot in the "Best Airline in Europe" category at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards for 2025. This marks the tenth consecutive year that THY has been honoured with this title.
The Skytrax World Airline Awards, recognised globally as a testament to quality and service, recognise the world's leading carriers across various categories. This year, THY walked away with a total of eight awards, including the prestigious title of Europe's Best Airline.
Bilal Eksi, THY's General Manager, referred to Turkish Airlines as Europe's champions in a social media post. He also labelled the airline as the continent's best, further reinforcing Turkish Airlines' dominance in the European region.
In the highly competitive European market, THY outranked Air France, British Airways, and Lufthansa to clinch the top spot. The airline's success is based on passenger surveys, underscoring the satisfaction of its customers.
In addition to being named Europe's Best Airline, THY was also recognised as the Best Airline in Southern Europe for 2025. The airline's exceptional business class catering was also acknowledged, with THY being named the World's Best Business Class Catering for 2025.
