EU’s Costa Heads to Kazakhstan to Strengthen Ties on Landmark Visit
European Council President António Costa will travel to Astana, Kazakhstan, on 3 December for a two-day official visit. The trip signifies a pivotal moment in EU-Kazakhstan relations, occurring during the 10th anniversary of their Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement.
Costa's itinerary includes high-level discussions with Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Both leaders will delve into ways to fortify collaboration between the EU and Kazakhstan.
The meetings aim to bolster the existing partnership framework. Tangible results from the talks will influence future EU-Kazakhstan relations. The visit concludes on 4 December.
