Exhibition of Innovation and Aerial Displays at TEKNOFEST

The TEKNOFEST festival is currently underway in Istanbul, continuing through to Sunday. This annual event, now in its fourth year, has grown into one of the world's leading technology events since its launch in 2018.

Supported by dozens of government agencies, private sector partners, and universities, TEKNOFEST offers a platform for participants to showcase their knowledge and breakthroughs. Since its inception, total attendance at TEKNOFEST has nearly reached 11 million, with last year's festival in the southern city of Adana attracting around 1.1 million visitors.

Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the TEKNOFEST Board of Directors, emphasized the importance of innovation at the opening ceremony. Visitors are welcomed with air shows, immersive simulation areas, workshops, exhibits, a planetarium, trade fair activities, student flight events, and more.

The event aims to inspire the next generation of innovators, and admission is free for those who apply via the official TEKNOFEST website. This year's programme features 58 main competition categories and 137 subcategories.

TEKNOFEST has expanded beyond Turkish borders, with editions hosted in Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Just last month, TEKNOFEST's maritime edition, Blue Homeland, was held in Istanbul.

The three main organizers of TEKNOFEST in Istanbul are the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. The event is currently open at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, inviting all to experience the vibrant world of technology, innovation, and inspiration.

As TEKNOFEST continues to soar higher each year, Istanbul once again becomes the epicentre of these elements, inspiring and educating millions while fostering a culture of innovation and creativity.
