Eyewitness Ronald Schreyer to Share Inner-German Border Experiences in Wesel

Schreyer, who successfully crossed the border twice in 1988, will delve into the daily life of both border guards and the population in the restricted area. He will also discuss the structures of the Marienborn border crossing and the broader context of the GDR's border regime. The lecture, titled 'The Border and the Restricted Area of the GDR: The Case of the Marienborn Border Crossing', requires no registration and is free to attend.
