Fayette County Man Sentenced to Life for Wife's Murder
A Fayette County man, Arthur Guty, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murder of his wife, Nicole Zambrano. The conviction follows an investigation that began when Zambrano was reported missing several days earlier.
Zambrano's body was discovered inside a home along Bierer Avenue in Uniontown. Guty, who had fled to Las Vegas, Nevada, was arrested with approximately $100,000 in cash. He was later convicted of first-degree murder for the crime, which occurred in December 2023.
Guty's conviction is the culmination of a lengthy legal process that began with the tragic discovery of Zambrano's body. The victim's name was revealed to be Daniel G. Hostager, a man known to have been close to the couple.
Arthur Guty will spend the rest of his life behind bars for the murder of his wife, Nicole Zambrano. The sentence brings a measure of closure to the case, but it cannot undo the tragedy that has befallen Zambrano's family and friends.
