FDP Geretsried unveils diverse candidate list for 2026 local elections
The Free Democratic Party (FDP) in Geretsried has announced its list of candidates for the upcoming local elections on March 8, 2026. Dagmar Reuter, the current chair of the Wolfratshausen-Geretsried branch, will lead the party's campaign, aiming to represent the FDP on the city council.
Reuter, a 66-year-old bank clerk who has lived in Geretsried since 2001, is passionate about extending the S7 rail line and 'turning the concrete jungle of Karl-Lederer-Platz green again'. She wants to make the FDP visible once more in Geretsried and strengthen the party's presence in local politics.
The FDP's list includes a mix of experienced professionals and young enthusiasts. Armin Prokscha, a 46-year-old lawyer, is in second place. He brings legal expertise to the table, while Felix Oßwald, a 21-year-old student from Gelting, is in third place, eager to promote liberal ideas independently of federal politics.
Simeon Reiter, a 40-year-old commercial real estate consultant, is in fourth place. He aims to strengthen Geretsried as a family- and sports-friendly city. Torsten Mohr, a 59-year-old self-employed IT consultant, is in fifth place. While he considers the S7 extension desirable, he is open to other solutions like a rapid bus service to Munich as an alternative.
The FDP's list for the Geretsried local elections is diverse and experienced, with Dagmar Reuter at the helm. If elected, the party aims to bring fresh ideas and improvements to the city, with a focus on transport, green spaces, and family-friendly initiatives.
