Fiji’s Exercise Cartwheel 2025 Sets New Benchmark for Military Cooperation
Fiji recently hosted Exercise Cartwheel, an annual multinational military training event aimed at boosting combat readiness and cooperation. This year’s edition, held just before international Veterans Day, marked the most complex iteration yet, with a focus on tactical and operational skills.
The 2025 exercise brought together troops from Fiji, the United States, and seven other nations under the National Guard State Partnership Program. This initiative strengthens defence ties with Tonga, Fiji, and Samoa, fostering long-term collaboration.
Exercise Cartwheel 2025 concluded as the most advanced version to date, enhancing interoperability among participating forces. The timing, just before Memorial Day 2025, underscored the shared commitment and sacrifice across different militaries and cultures.
