Five Nizhny Novgorod cities vie for landmark graphic design honors in national contest
Five cities from the Nizhny Novgorod region have advanced to the semi-finals of a national competition celebrating entrance arches. The contest highlights graphic design, with public voting now open on the GorSreda platform via VKontakte. Residents can directly support their local nominees through the community page. The shortlisted cities include Nizhny Novgorod, Sarov, Semenov, Chkalovsk, and Balakhna. Each has submitted graphic designs for entrance arches, which are now under public review. Voters can access links to the nominees’ graphic designs on the GorSreda page. Public participation will help decide which cities receive recognition for their graphic design projects. The winning projects will gain visibility at a major federal exhibition. Additionally, the grand prize will support the installation of a new landmark in the victorious city.
