A 23-year-old man has died after being struck by a falling tree while working in a forest near Seeshaupt, Upper Bavaria. The accident happened on Tuesday in the Weilheim-Schongau district, prompting an immediate emergency response. The worker was attempting to guide the tree’s fall using a steel cable when it struck him. Despite wearing the required protective gear, he passed away at the scene. The case remains under review as officials assess compliance with workplace safety rules. The findings will clarify whether further measures are needed to prevent similar incidents in the future.
