Foster Care Service Brings Families Together at 'The Little Witch' Event
The Foster Care Service recently hosted a special event at the Akademietheater Regensburg, inviting 82 individuals, including 36 adults and 46 children from 22 foster families, to watch 'The Little Witch'. State Councilor Tanja Schweiger led the gathering, expressing gratitude towards foster parents for their vital role in society.
The Foster Care Service, part of the Youth Welfare Office, currently supports 142 children in 112 full-time or short-term foster families. The service provides regular professional consultation, support, and opportunities for exchange among these families. One such initiative was the recent theater visit, demonstrating the service's commitment to fostering a sense of community among its members.
