After High-Speed Chase: Police Arrest Town Sign Thieves - Four Arrested After High-Speed Chase in Amberg-Sulzbach Sign Theft
Four individuals, including three minors, were arrested in the Amberg-Sulzbach district following a high-speed chase. They are suspected of stealing town and traffic signs in the Upper Palatinate region.
The group, which included an 18-year-old driver, was caught after a witness reported their suspicious activities. Police pursued them and eventually apprehended the men. The chase ended with the recovery of eight stolen signs, tools used to unscrew them, and two knives found in their car.
The driver's license was confiscated, and he faces charges of illegal street racing. Despite ongoing investigations, the identities of the three minors remain unknown to the public.
The arrested men are believed to be responsible for the theft of signs in the Upper Palatinate region. Police continue to investigate the incident, and charges are pending.
