Four arrested after overnight van break-ins and power tool thefts in Sendenhorst
Four men have been arrested in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins in Sendenhorst. The incidents took place overnight between 28 and 29 November 2025, with power tools stolen from company vans. Police later intercepted the suspects’ getaway car near Beckum.
The first break-in was reported at around 11:15 p.m. on Münsterstraße. Less than an hour later, a second theft occurred on Industriestraße just after midnight. Witnesses spotted a suspicious vehicle leaving the scene, which officers tracked and stopped at a motorway slip road near Beckum.
The arrests follow a coordinated police response to the thefts. Two of the detained men remain in custody pending further investigation. Authorities continue to examine the stolen tools and the vehicle used in the crimes.
