Accident with multiple injuries in Petersberg - Four Injured, Including Child, in Hesse Highway Collision Near Petersberg
Four people, including a young child, were injured in a traffic collision near Petersberg, Hesse. The crash happened as a 32-year-old driver attempted to turn left off the A7 highway onto the B485. Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after the accident occurred.
The incident involved two vehicles. The first was driven by a 32-year-old man, who was exiting the A7 and turning onto the B485. His car collided with a second vehicle, driven by a 59-year-old woman.
The 59-year-old suffered serious injuries, while the 32-year-old, his 34-year-old passenger, and a four-year-old girl sustained minor wounds. A dog travelling in the 32-year-old’s car remained unharmed. All four injured individuals were transported to hospital for treatment.
Authorities temporarily closed the road in both directions to carry out rescue operations. The estimated cost of property damage from the crash is around €56,000. Investigators are still examining the cause of the accident, though no further details have been released as of December 18, 2025.
The road has since reopened, but the inquiry into the collision continues. The seriously injured driver remains under medical care, while the others have been treated for minor injuries. Officials have not yet confirmed what led to the crash.
