Knife Attack at Supermarket Parking Lot - Four Arrests - Four Suspects Detained in Wertheim Supermarket Knife Attack
Four suspects have been provisionally detained in connection with a knife attack on a supermarket parking lot in Wertheim, Main-Tauber district. The incident left two 21-year-old men seriously injured. Prosecutors are currently reviewing evidence to determine if charges can be pressed.
The attack occurred when a group of four people were confronted with at least one knife. The motive behind the altercation remains unclear. Following the incident, the suspects fled the scene and made their way to a nearby train station. They managed to escape on a regional train, but police were able to track them down during a manhunt. The suspects, aged 17, 19, and 21, were eventually caught and provisionally detained.
The investigation into the knife attack is ongoing. Prosecutors are assessing the evidence to decide whether to press charges against the four suspects. The two injured men are receiving medical treatment.
