Frank Lehmann Honored for Decades of Service in Steinheim

Frank Lehmann, a prominent figure in Steinheim, has been recognised for his decades of voluntary service. Born in Berlin on January 17, 1942, Lehmann has left an indelible mark on his adopted hometown through his dedication and commitment.

Lehmann's journey began in 2006 when he joined the board of the German Multiple Sclerosis Society (DMSG) Hesse, a role he held until 2013. During this time, he moderated numerous benefit events, raising awareness and funds for the cause. His efforts did not go unnoticed, earning him the State of Hesse's Honor Award, presented by Mayor Dr. Maximilian Bieri at the Old Church in Steinheim in 2023.

In addition to his work with DMSG, Lehmann has been a driving force behind the preservation and revitalisation of the Old Church. Since 2008, he has served as the chairman of the Association for the Preservation of the Old Church in Steinheim, transforming it into a significant landmark and a vibrant hub for the community. Mayor Bieri lauded Lehmann's integrity, foresight, and sense of responsibility, highlighting his commitment to the town's cultural heritage.

Lehmann's influence extends beyond Steinheim. From 2013 to 2023, he served on the jury of the Thinker Forum, addressing socially relevant topics in business and science. His contributions earned him the Honorary Letter of the State of Berlin in recognition of his long-standing and outstanding voluntary commitment. Lehmann also gained national recognition as the moderator of the 'Stock Exchange in the First' show on ARD.
