Frank Lindner wins Bempflingen mayoral race in a landslide victory

Frank Lindner has been elected mayor of Bempflingen with a resounding victory, securing 69.30% of the vote. The election saw a voter turnout of 66.16%, with 1,820 out of 2,751 eligible voters participating.

Lindner, who will serve an eight-year term starting February, received 1,255 votes, leaving his four rivals far behind. The closest contender, Daniel Hentschel, secured 17.73% of the vote. The Party's Daniel Friesch came in third with 2.54%, followed by Thorsten Feisthammel with 5.63% and Bernhard Frasl with 4.47%.

Lindner was 'completely overwhelmed' by his victory, while outgoing mayor Bernd Welser described the outcome as a 'magnificent mandate' for Lindner.

Frank Lindner's decisive win signals a clear mandate from the voters of Bempflingen. He will take office in February, marking the start of his eight-year term as mayor.
