Frankfurt’s New Power Duo Aims to Launch 1,000 Startups by 2030

A new partnership has formed to boost startup growth in the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main region. Futury, a startup incubator, and Business Angels FrankfurtRheinMain e.V. have joined forces to strengthen local entrepreneurship. Their shared goal is to support at least 1,000 small business ideas in their founding and growth phases by 2030.

The collaboration will merge Futury’s existing resources with the investor network of Business Angels FrankfurtRheinMain. Futury brings infrastructure, accelerator programmes, and networking opportunities to the table. Meanwhile, the Business Angels group contributes early-stage funding and investment expertise.

From 2026, the partnership will run pilot programmes combining accelerator cohorts with angel-matching events. These initiatives aim to streamline connections between startups and potential backers. Regular in-person consultations, called Business Angels Office Hours, will also take place at Futury’s Startup Space. To reach their target of 1,000 supported small business ideas, both organisations will launch joint communication and acquisition campaigns. The focus remains on guiding entrepreneurs through critical early stages of development.

The partnership officially begins its operations in 2026 with pilot events and angel-matching sessions. By combining accelerator support with direct access to capital, the initiative intends to create a more robust startup ecosystem. The ultimate measure of success will be the number of businesses successfully guided through their founding and growth phases by 2030.
