Frauenbergstraße in Marburg closes for months due to utility relocations
A section of Frauenbergstraße in Marburg will close for construction until around December 19. The work involves relocating utility lines for a new Sparkasse service building. City buses and drivers will face temporary diversions during this period.
The closure affects the stretch near number 22. No-parking restrictions will apply along the entire street, though pedestrians and cyclists can still pass through. Deliveries and customer access to businesses at 22 Frauenbergstraße will remain open.
The work is expected to last until mid-December. Residents and commuters should plan for altered routes and check for further updates. The city has confirmed that pedestrian and bicycle access will remain unaffected throughout the project.
