Freiburg prepares residents for Dietenbach’s upcoming land allocation events
Freiburg residents are gearing up for two informative events ahead of the land allocation process in the new Dietenbach district. The city has announced that the allocation of plots and project proposals will commence in late February 2026. Mayor Martin Haag will be in attendance at the evening session of the first event.
The first event is scheduled for December 2, 2026, at the Seepark Community Center. This session will delve into the allocation process, share best practices, and facilitate an Ideas Marketplace for networking among attendees. The keynote speech at this evening event will be delivered by Marek Los.
The second event is set for February 26, 2026, at the Freiburg Exhibition Center. Here, details will be provided on available plots, allocation packages, and the application process itself. Both events aim to equip residents with the necessary information to participate effectively in the land allocation process.
The city of Freiburg is committed to transparency and resident engagement in the upcoming land allocation process. With these two informative events, the city hopes to empower residents to make informed decisions and actively participate in shaping the new Dietenbach district.
